The Vashon Park District provides two opportunities to display your community event messages on Community Bulletin Boards. Anyone driving to or from the North End ferry dock on Vashon sees the "North End Board" -- a large marquis on the west side of Vashon Highway that touts upcoming community events. All passers-by driving north or south of Ober Park view event messages displayed on either side of the Ober Mini Board located at the entrance to the Ober parking lot. A Community event is defined as an event, activity, or function located on Vashon Island and is sponsored by a non-profit organization, a professional association, a business association, a charitable organization, a cultural/arts organization, or a community organization.
