LOW TIDE CELEBRATION Vashon Park District's historic Point Robinson Lighthouse is set to host the annual Low Tide Celebration on Sunday, June 4th, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
This exciting event will offer guided beach tours provided by Vashon Nature Center, the historical narrative about the lighthouse from Captain Joe Wubbold, U.S. Coast Guard (ret.), food trucks, children's activities, and a chance to discover the weird and wonderful creatures at the -3.4 tide.
A shuttle bus will be available to transport attendees to and from the event along Point Robinson Road, making it easy and convenient for everyone to attend. The Low Tide Celebration is an excellent opportunity to learn about the history of Point Robinson Lighthouse and Vashon-Maury Island while having fun and enjoying the stunning surroundings.
Point Robinson Lighthouse is located at 3705 SW Point Robinson Road, Vashon, WA 98070, and all are welcome to attend this exciting event.
Point Robinson Lighthouse is one of the oldest lighthouses in the state and has a long history dating back to the late 1800s. It is still a working lighthouse and a beloved part of the local community.
